    Why join this session?

UMass Memorial Health is the largest not-for-profit health system in Central Massachusetts, with more than 20,000 employees. Over the past decade, they've built improvement into how the organization runs rather than treating it as a side project. Today, 583 teams huddle weekly on their own idea boards; more than 200,000 ideas have come from frontline caregivers, and $11.1M in grant funds have gone towards putting them into practice.

The UMass Memorial Lean Innovation Team will walk through the foundation their system is built on: engagement with accountability, recognition, measuring impact, and turning strategy into action. The session opens with time to connect across the group and closes with open Q&A, and questions submitted ahead of time will shape the discussion.
